FAQ

How many weeks do I need to improve my IELTS band?

It depends on your starting level, your target and how many hours you can study. As a rough guide, raising your overall band by 0.5 often takes 6 to 12 weeks of regular study, and a full band can take several months. Your plan is built around the weeks you have before your exam.

How many hours a day should I study for IELTS?

Most students do well with 1 to 3 hours a day, five or six days a week. Steady daily practice works better than long sessions once a week. Enter the time you can really keep up and the planner will fit the work to it.

Is this study plan free?

Yes. The planner is free to use. To keep the service available for everyone, each visitor can make a limited number of plans per hour.

Can I use the planner for CELPIP or TOEFL?

Yes. Choose your exam in the form. The plan changes to match the skills and tasks of that test.

What if my exam is only a few weeks away?

The planner gives you a shorter plan that focuses on your weakest skills and on test technique and timing. Tick the skills you find hardest so the plan puts them first.
